How to Use the Whiteboard
Pick a Tool
Choose from the left panel: Hand to pan, Select to move elements, or any shape tool to start drawing.
Draw & Style
Click and drag on the canvas to create shapes. Use the stroke/fill color palettes and roughness slider to refine the look of each element.
Export Your Board
Click the Download icon in the top bar to export a PNG crop of all your elements. Share it, embed it, or use it in a presentation.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the whiteboard saved automatically?
The whiteboard is session-based. Your work persists while the tab is open, but export your board as a PNG before closing to save your work permanently.
Can I undo mistakes?
Yes! We store up to 100 history snapshots. Use Ctrl+Z to undo and Ctrl+Y to redo. You can also press Delete/Backspace to remove the selected element.
How do I pan and zoom?
Scroll your mouse wheel to zoom in/out. To pan, hold Space and drag, use the Hand tool, or click the middle mouse button and drag.
Can I add text to the whiteboard?
Yes! Select the Text tool (T) and click anywhere on the canvas to place a text box. Press Enter to commit, or Escape to cancel. Double-click any existing element to edit its text.
