- Copy all of them, or download them as a file.
Random IDs, formatted your way
Need a unique ID for a database row, a test fixture or a config file? Here are random version 4 UUIDs, up to 50 at a time.
Format them how your code expects: with or without hyphens, upper or lowercase, wrapped in curly braces (the Microsoft GUID style). Output as one per line, comma-separated, or a JSON array.
Frequently asked questions
Could I ever get a duplicate?
In theory, yes. In practice, no. There are about 5.3 × 10³⁶ possible v4 UUIDs. You could make a billion every second for decades and still almost certainly never see a repeat.
UUID vs GUID?
Same thing. GUID is Microsoft's name for it, and it's often written in uppercase inside curly braces.
