How to convert a PDF to JPG
- Select a PDF file.
- Choose a resolution scale: 1x for normal screen viewing, 1.5x for high quality, or 2x for ultra-sharp images suitable for printing or zooming.
- Click Convert All to JPG. Each page is rendered as a separate image and shown as a thumbnail.
- Download a single page, or download all pages together as a ZIP file.
Choosing the right resolution
At 1x a standard A4 page becomes roughly 600 × 850 px - fine for previews and chat apps. 1.5x is a good default for slides and social posts. 2x doubles the pixel dimensions, which keeps small text legible when zoomed but produces files about four times larger.
Why convert PDF pages to images?
Images can be posted where PDFs cannot - Instagram, WhatsApp statuses, website galleries, presentation slides. Converting also “flattens” a page so fonts and layout look identical on every device.
Rendered on your device
Pages are rendered with Mozilla’s PDF.js directly in your browser, then encoded as JPG on a canvas. The PDF is never uploaded.
Frequently asked questions
Can I convert just one page?
Convert the document, then use the download button on the page you want. To keep a subset as a PDF instead, use the PDF Page Extractor.
Why is the text in my JPG blurry?
Use the 2x scale. Higher scale renders the page at more pixels, which keeps small print sharp.
Is my PDF uploaded?
No. Conversion happens entirely in your browser.
