How to blur a face or redact a screenshot

  1. Upload or paste your photo or screenshot (Ctrl+V / Cmd+V works directly).
  2. Choose Blur, Pixelate (Mosaic), or Solid Blackout mode and adjust the brush strength.
  3. Drag over faces, names, credit card numbers or license plates to redact them.
  4. Download the redacted image.

Irreversible canvas redaction

When you export the redacted image, the blurred or blacked-out pixels are baked permanently into a flat image canvas. Because the original photo never leaves your browser and the output contains no layers or undo history, nobody who receives the file can unblur or recover the hidden region.

Frequently asked questions

Can someone unblur the exported image?

No. The exported PNG/JPG is a single flattened bitmap with the original pixel values overwritten.

Can I paste a screenshot directly from my clipboard?

Yes. Press Ctrl+V (or Cmd+V on Mac) anywhere on the page to load a screenshot from your clipboard.
